delays and reduced confidence among the executive decision makers
who rely on them. This is where the A3 Modeling

begins to outweigh the value they provide.

BENEFITS
Business-driven and customizable by end users…
… yet
centralized and secure, under IT control.
End Users Get Flexibility: A3 Modeling
empowers spreadsheet experts to transform their most complex spreadsheet
systems into real-time, business-driven applications. Your team
builds these applications using widely available spreadsheet and
database skills. No programming: no HTML, no JAVA,
no VBA.
I.T. Gets Control: While spreadsheet
experts design their solution, IT retains ultimate control of the
data, security and access.
Upgrade existing applications…
… or
construct new ones!
A3 customers use the A3 Modeling Spreadsheet Application
Server in one of two ways:
I) Customers convert manual, file-based spreadsheet systems
into enterprise class applications. When A3 Modeling
is applied to transform existing spreadsheet systems, the important
business logic and design elements of your spreadsheet models
are preserved and the data is moved into central SQL tables and
OLAP cubes (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, and/or Microsoft). This approach
saves weeks of labor compared to traditional approaches of ripping
and replacing spreadsheet functionality from scratch.
II) I.T. and Business Users collaborate on new applications. When
building new applications, IT and Business Users share the labor
between spreadsheet design (business users) and database design
(IT users), creating a truly collaborative, rapid development process.
The result is extremely fast deployments with high user satisfaction
that meet the security and integration requirements of IT.
